Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
The footpath on harpsden way has disintegrated and is causing problems for local residents especially elderly people. it is becoming increasingly difficult for people to walk on and can potentially lead to accidents. I originally raised this report Fri 31/08/2018. I received no recognition, email update (other than automated) or phone call. Nothing has been done. Other updates were raised by others on the same issue (e.g. “I would like to reiterate the above. The footpath all along this road is in a very bad state of repair, it’s absolutely filthy and has such a steep camber, making it very difficult to walk along. I take my grandson to nursery Monday to Friday and find it impossible to push the buggy along this pavement. Consequently I end up walking along the road which I find very unsafe but is the only option left to me. The buggy has already had to be repaired due to damage caused by this pavement. Please can something be done about it. This route is used by a lot of walkers and is a busy thoroughfare but is just covered in mud and leaves most of the year. We now consider it fixed" Thu 05/11/2020. I am now re-raising since nothing has changed from the outset of this being reported 3 years ago.

I have complained to the Council before regarding this dangerous footpath but to no avail. It is extremely uneven, always muddy and very narrow. I usually find that I have to walk in the road instead along which the cars travel at a very fast speed. I am worried, as an older person about the high risk of falling and feel that the Council should fix this issue asap.
