Constant speeding vehicles

Reported via mobile in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 07:33, Sunday 14 March 2021

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

The stretch of Thorney Leys that is 30mph near Guild Close is extremely dangerous to cross. Vehicles, particularly lorries are constantly speeding along this stretch of road. Residents from Guild Close have no way to cross Thorney Leys safely and there is no proper access to the controlled crossing on Thorney Leys. There is a blind bend on this stretch of road where vehicles come speeding round. Residents having to run across the road. So Dangerous for all, particularly those with pushchairs, children, elderly, wheelchairs. There is a dropped curb but this hasn’t made it any safer to cross. Accident waiting to happen, either by someone being hit by a vehicle or vehicle losing control (which has already happened before).
