Workmen today planting trees opposite our property on the highway verge. These people work for the landowner who has claimed he owns the roadside strip.

Is this planting legal (in his right to do so) as it has been made after a neighbourhood dispute to block our view and light to our property.

If the landowner does own the verge are they also responsible then for tidying the verge? Debris is regularly falling onto the public highway (Whitehall Lane)
