Cracked and sunken pavement/driveway

This pavement / driveway has been in a state of disrepair for at least the past seven years. I reported the problem two years ago because is was getting to a dangerous state and a trip hazard. The water company came out to repair the area round the manhole cover in the driveway, but the pavement and driveway have got progressively worse. We have reported this before on this site and also our local councillor has written to you about this in 2019 but we have not heard any more and it still needs repairing.

  • Thank you for your report. We have conducted a site visit in this location today, 16.3.21.There are no safety defects on the footway which require immediate action at present. This matter has been referred to a Technical officer for further investigation.
