Broken securing strap
Reported via iOS in the Road Markings category by Councillor Nick Leverton at 16:55, Sat 6 March 2021
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
The sign is adjacent to the Carterton Town Library and indicates the approaching roundabout. The photo shows the rear securing strap is broken, this has caused the sign to slide down the pole and it is resting at head height. Large likelihood of head injury to pedestrians and in my opinion is an urgent problem.

This is at a dangerous height and it would fail any and all risk assessments. I am very disappointed that this has failed your tests to be determined as an emergency and immediate response item. I will in my capacity of the Mayor of Carterton discuss the matter with the Town Clerk to discuss our response as a Town. It would be fair to say unusually I am somewhat disappointed by the lack of action regarding this matter. Cllr Nick Leverton
