Hole in pavement
Reported via desktop in the Pavements category by Mrs Lisa Smith at 12:49, Tue 2 March 2021
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
There is a broken pipe that has now become worse in the pavement with the broken piece next to the pipe (see pic). This has created a hole in the pavement and has sharp edges which someone could seriously hurt themselves on, especially as we have no street lights. It's also causing problems for wheelchair users (this was reported to me by a wheelchair user). Please can this be fixed asap. Thanks very much, Lisa

Nothing has yet been done about this. A wheelchair user originally reported this to me as they were struggling going over this. A number of parents and dog walkers have also mentioned this as little feet and paws could be seriously hurt by this as it has sharp edges and we have no street lights in Freeland so people won't see this in the dark. Please can this be fixed ASAP. Thanks.

The hole in teh pavement has been fixed...BUT, the pipe that was there appears to have been blocked which is a resident's pipe from their guttering. The resident has contacted me and they are not at all happy that the pipe has been blocked. Plus, the way the pavement has been fixed has left a gaping hole in the kerbstones which I cannot believe is safe to leave as it is (see photos attached). Please can this be made safe and the pipe unblocked asap. Thanks.

Would like the tree looked at outside 189 wroslyn road. It’s a beautiful tree but has grown a lot the last few years and could do with being trimmed back a bit as it’s in the telephone/power lines and over hangs ours cars, which wouldn’t usually be a problem but a lot of sap/pollen goes onto the cars which damages the paint work and in the warmer months we get a lot of bees/wasps feeding on the sap as well as a few branches falling on the cars. Thanks
