The new traffic enforcemnet camera and spikey guard damaged
Reported via desktop in the Road Traffic Signs and Road Markings category anonymously at 19:53, Monday 1 March 2021
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
The brand new traffic enforcement camera has been misaligned, the protective spikes damaged and the top section of pole bent/misaligned. The camera will probably now miss any vehicle travelling through illegally (but depends on how wide angle the camera lens is). It looks at though this was caused by a reversing/manouvering tall vehicle - may need an extra bollard to prevent reoccurence? This is a different report about damaged/misaligned signs reported previously (November?), as that report referred to the previous pre camera signs.

Thank you for your report. Unfortunately the damage has been caused by an unknown vehicle. We have arranged for the repairs to be completed this month ready for the bollards to go operational again in April. I have marked the report as fixed as repairs have been arranged. Keith Stenning
