Pothole right by the verge

Reported via desktop in the Pothole category by Martin Buckland at 17:34, Sunday 28 February 2021

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

A pothole right at the edge of the road on the inside of the bend where vehicles will naturally pass by. This was there, but not repaired, before the road was top-dressed about three years ago and the new surface has consequently failed as well as the course underneath.

Council ref: ENQ21888859

  • This pothole repair is still outstanding on the inside of the bend. Luckily someone has put a traffic cone in the hole - if the cone gets displaced there will be a potentially dangerous hazard as the pothole is right on the inner wheel alignment of eastbound vehicles.
