  • Dear Sir/Madam, I hit these exact potholes (ENQ21888045) last night and my tyre burst and alloy wheel damaged. I called The AA and waited for an hour in the cold. The AA technician told me that I needed a new tyre, balancing, and inspect the wheel for safety. The AA installed a temporary tyre and escorted me to my home in Swindon where they installed my own spare tyre that I had at home. The AA emailed me the details of the rescue. Considering these dangerous potholes have already been reported to you for some time, I’d like to make a complaint and ask for a financial resolution. I look forward to hearing from you as soon as possible. Best, Hassan Feissali

  • I've also had a tyre and alloy destroyed by this pothole - the council have claimed they inspected it in March 2021, rectified it before my accident on 22nd April, and have had no complaints about it. Perhaps others who have also suffered at this spot could weigh in here with additional experiences.
