New cycle Lane bumpy not smooth

The new off road cycle Lane on Botley Road has an uneven surface and undulates. Can the road workers smooth it - surely a new cycle Lane should be smooth...

  • There iss a short piece of the brand new cycle way which can be used just before the old bit right outside the Volvo sales and repair building. The tarmac has been put done using a method which ensures that the finished surface undulates very noticeably when a bicycle is ridden over it. It is not good quality work. Try riding a normal bicycle over it and you'll immediately feel what I and others mean.
