Very large area that covers the full width of the carriageway so that you can’t avoid it and because of the slope on the road you don’t get to see it until you are upon it. Hitting this at 40mph is very likely to result in damage to tyres and rims.

This pothole has been there since the road was closed for the addition of passing places back in 2020 and it’s getting worse.
