Double yellow lines on corner faded

Reported via mobile in the Road Traffic Signs and Road Markings category anonymously at 07:46, Thursday 18 February 2021

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

The double yellow lines that make turning at this corner safe have faded so much that traffic wardens can' t issue parking tickets to people parking on these lines. Cars parked here makes crossing the street dangerous, turning from Henley Street into Hurst Street very difficult for large vehicles and sometimes dangerous for cars. This has been like this for months.

  • A car was left on the faded yellow lines directly opposite Henley Street outside 47 Hurst St for the whole weekend. It caused so many problems for traffic I was very surprised it didn't cause an accident. With so many students back parking is now very difficult, so this space is being used much more.
