Incorrect parking markings, worried road too narrow for emergency access

Reported via desktop in the Road Traffic Signs and Road Markings category anonymously at 15:05, Tuesday 16 February 2021

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

When the council came to mark up Silver Road for parking lines to be painted (2020), a neighbour altered the markings. Then when the painters came, they followed the new markings. Instead of getting one side parked on the road and the other side half on the pavement, we have both sides parked fully on the road. I am worried that this is too narrow for emergency vehicles like fire engines to get down if needed. The bin lorry manages but they go very slowly and do it often. Cars on the road are often damaged by other cars scraping past.
