  • Grass verge

I live in a semi detached house - 46 Green Rd. the verges outside our house is constantly being driven over and is a real mess. we have tried repairing it several times but everyone continues to drive over it. Our neighbours at 44 Green Rd, it is a house of multiple occupancy, they have a road maintenance truck, a taxi and several others cars. Also I have a disabled son who attends day centre and has transport services who also drive over the verge. Is it possible to have posts put in or tarmac over it? I can provide photos fir your reference.

Parish council confirm it’s your responsibility

  • This is still an issue - Cherwell say it down to kidlington and kidlington say down to Cherwell. Even tried OCC

  • Information regarding the process of having wooden posts erected, at your expense, is available on our internet. First of all you need to obtain written permission of your town/parish council. If you still wished to go ahead OCC would be able to obtain a quotation for the installation of the posts. Any future maintenance of these posts would be at your cost.
