Sarsden Road heading down towards Churchill

Reported via desktop in the Roads and Carriageways category anonymously at 16:08, Fri 29 January 2021

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

The carriageway next to the verge is being scoured & eroded by rainwater. This is a very long, steep hill & a considerable amount of water flows down when it rains & there is a fast growing gully for quite a long stretch. This can only get worse as the water undercuts the road.

  • Nothing done yet. After heavy rain, water is now coming up through the road surface outside our drive; I am guessing that it is getting under the road further up the hill in the gully. If this is the case won't this cause even more damage?
