White line painting request
Reported via desktop in the Road Markings category by Lisa Smith at 14:09, Wed 27 January 2021
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
Please can I make a request to have single white lines painted around the corners of Oakland Close in Freeland by the junction with Wroslyn Road, to mirror the white lines we have in place at the Parklands junction.
When the school children have been back at school, the parking around this junction has become extremely dangerous, with Oakland Close being a much narrower road than Parklands with no pavements. Residents have raised their concerns to me and the Parish Council agreed to ask for the white lines to be painted. Thanks.

This would be a new road marking. Our lining budget is only for refreshing current works. If you would like to have an access protection marking in this area then details of these, and payment amount, are on our website. It is currently £128.00 per marking, this would require 2 if you want one each side, so would be £256 payable before the work is carried out. The price will rise on 1 April. If you would be interested in this please let me know by updating this FMS enquiry. I can then get in touch with you and arrange to visit the site and if you wish to go ahead get an invoice sent our asap. Road marking work is carried out between April and October.
