Safety bollard hit by car
Reported via mobile in the Pavements category anonymously at 12:00, Wednesday 27 January 2021
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
Safety bollard is now not protecting the public from walking on pavement at a dangerous corner in bad weather conditions. Near miss in the snow and safety bollard protected a member of public from being hit at the entrance of a nature reserve. I have been informed that these are the reason why these bollards were originally installed to protect pedestrians. I can see from a previous snow day that another bollard was hit but this has never been replaced and the hole just concerted over. My concern is if this is not replaced then a similar incident could harm a member of the public. Hole is a trip hazard. The safety bollard is in my garden.
