Permanently blocked drains

Reported via desktop in the Drainage category by Anthony Hawkins at 14:20, Monday 25 January 2021

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

The problem in Standhill Lane between Little Haseley and Haseley Brook is not primarily flooding due to the weather. The drains are blocked causing water, coming off the fields and down the slope of the lane, to form continuous streams and standing water. This did not occur when the drains were not blocked. We, the residents ask you to address the problem of blocked drains to fix this. It is a long-standing issue made worse by the drains becoming fully blocked. It is now causing dangerous potholes and in the cold weather black ice under the streams of water. Sooner or later this is going to lead to an accident.
