Pothole outside 8a bell street, from sunken manhole cover.

Pothole has been there for months and was recently 'patched-up' by some guys, just throwing some tarmac over it, in December. It's creating a big puddle which is now covering my shopfront (Anthony Paul Jewellery) in dirty water, when driven through. And also causing the shop front to rot.

  • Thank you for your report. We were aware of the low fire hydrant COVER and surrounding surface area .Unfortunately the team needed a road closure to make the permanent repairs, which have only just been completed. Due to the notice period required to close the road, we were only able to make temporary repairs to the area .As a result it may have appeared to be a poor finish following this type of repair.
