Standing water all along Church Lane, Yarnton

Reported via desktop in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 09:23, Friday 22 January 2021

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

After rain there is standing water along Church Lane, most of the way along the lane. There is a roadside ditch but there are no adequate gullies to allow the water to drain from the road.

  • Church Lane is very Flooded, can't get by. No wonder, as the drains are completely filled up with thick mud if you poke a stick a cm. down. They need flushing out. Also the big house nearby is draining water through their fence out onto the lane in a blue pipe, just pouring it over the pavement onto the road.

  • I thinks it a bit more than standing water. it’s 300mm deep at the deepest point and has now been flooded for three consecutive days.
