Pothole near curb on eastbound side of road

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

This pothole is close to the curb and in-line with the "give way" line at the traffic lights. It extends out about 18-24 inches out into the road. It appears to be the result of a trench loosing its filling. It is quite deep and you have to swerve into the adjacent lane to avoid. NOTE: This is not the pothole also reported here as that is one that has reappeared a few metres up the road a the exit of the junction

  • Still not fixed, you can’t avoid going through it as the road isn’t wide enough with traffic in the right hand lane

  • I have hit this pot hole twice now as it cannot be avoided and whilst travelling slowly it made a banging noise on my front passenger side tyre, I hope no damage has been caused to my vehicle.

  • This pothole is still there and unavoidable. Both myself and family member have now had a bad noise from car when driving over it. Not only will it cause damage to cars but will cause accident where cars take evasive action. This is dangerous and taking too long to get fixed.

  • Pothole not fixed a month after being reported. Others have added comments in support. A large pothole which needs repairing ASAP - not good enough from the council.
