To Whom It May Concern,
I today contact you with regards to a significant injury I've obtained as a result of a pothole. On Sunday the 17th of January 2021, when I stepped on a rather nasty pothole and rolled my ankle.
The incident took place along Hailey Avenue, Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire.
I've have since (18th of January 2021) visited my local hospital in order to seek professional medical care / assistance. After assessing my injury, they decided it required an Xray. The Xray showed now bone breakage and the nurse stated that It had caused significant soft tissue damage. As I'm sure you can imagine, this is causing me a lot of pain and discomfort (to say the least).
The nurse stated that the heeling time would be a matter of weeks in order for the swelling, bruising to go down and for the obtained injury to get better. She did not prescribe any medication but instructed to manage to pain using Paracetamol and inflammation with anti-inflammaties during the recovery period.
I've attached images of how the bruises on my foot and ankle are now and the pothole in question.
I do also have to say that this particular road in question is absolutely terrible with regards to pothole and is in my opinion a very high health and safety risk, to both pedestrians and motor vehicles.
Please do let me know if there is an official report I require to complete.
I sincerely hope to hear from you.
