Reported via desktop in the Street lighting category anonymously at 14:17, Tuesday 19 January 2021

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Street light 28 (the number is not visible but the location of the pin is correct) is in a dangerous condition. This is another one of the street lights where the contractors have secured the light with STICKY TAPE. The rain has got in, the tape has fallen off and now the light is now in a DANGEROUS condition with it's cover ready to fall down and hurt somebody. Please can you look at this as a priority to avoid somebody getting hurt

  • Sorry to hear of this issue, I will ask our contractors to be more thorough and ensure lanterns are left safe as fully agree this isn't good enough for the publics safety. I have asked for a new lantern to go up on fault - 00382229, apologies again for this issue
