Potholes in middle of road the length of the bus stop

Hi

There are several potholes in the middle of the road the length of the bus stop where cars and lorries overtake, sadly at high speed, and my whole house shakes regularly when this happens. I appreciate these potholes aren’t particularly deep but clearly they are causing significant vibrations when heavy lorries and buses drive over them. Also, as there is an entrance to the village hall, if those heavy vehicles needed to apply their brakes then they’d possibly slide and potentially cause and accident, as the surface is so uneven. Please would you level the whole section in middle of the road to reduce these damaging vibrations. Thank you.

  • Thank you for your enquiry. I have visited the site and assessed the problem that you have identified. Unfortunately it does not meet our current intervention criteria so I cannot arrange a repair. We will continue to monitor this during our routine inspections. Regards
