Mud on Road

Reported via desktop in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 13:56, Friday 15 January 2021

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Issue previously reported as 'street cleaning' bounced back from Biffa - Reissued under Highway and Roads

N.A.P (grab hire company) have been removing a considerable amount of soil and waste from the Sweetcroft development in the field adjacent to Cow Lane and School Road. The vehicle have dragged soil from the field in the process of driving and deposited it on School Road. I have contacted N.A.P directly and they have said they will contact Sweetcroft development for a road sweeper, I believe it’s N.A.P’s responsibility to clear the road as they made the hazard. The road is incredibly slippery on School Road. Cow Lane is a mess and I am not sure how this will be cleaned as it’s already a single track road without a proper surface. https://naptransport.co.uk/ contact/

  • It might be a good idea to have a section on the drop down menu on Fix my street for 'Mud on Road' so that reporting parties don't choose 'Street Cleaning' instead.
