13-01-2021 Reply to OCC response HM Land Registry Title Number ON162778 Title Plan shows roadside verge OUTSIDE boundary of field. Field belongs to owner of house opposite the field,Register ON162778. Tree growing in OCC verge opposite house. Map scale 1.1250 stamped by SODC Planning for Crown Inn Pishill shows verge outside boundary of the field in question . OCC Response 20-12-2020 The overhanging trees are on land not deemed to be part of the publicly maintained highway by Oxfordshire County Council in our capacity as local highway authority. You are advised to contact Land Registry to determine who is responsible for the land on which the trees are growing and therefore, have the responsibility for the trees. Thank you for your enquiry. Tree falling on house or highway from verge 20-10-2020 Tall Ash Tree with confirmed Ash Die Back disease on sloping verge of B480 opposite an inhabited dwelling, my home. Please can Oxfordshire County Council provide the tree`s inspection record as their duty of care. An inspection is requested.
