New updates on A 35cm x 25cm pothole approx 10cm deep
Reported via desktop in the Pothole category by Kevin Tomblin, Parish Councillor Tadmarton at 14:14, Wed 13 January 2021
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
This pothole was reported on the 22nd December and I was advised that it would be repaired The update today says "fixed", unfortunately that is not the case. Perhaps they have repaired the wrong pothole The pothole has yet to be repaired even though today, 13th January, contractors were repairing holes 15 yds away and their van was parked opposite the pot hole The road carries car, cyclists, horses and pedestrians and over a period of time the surface has eroded and the ballast below the original tarmac is now being scooped out by traffic passing over it.
The hole is now dangerous to pedestrian, horses and cyclists and will cause damage to vehicles. The depth of the hole can become blind to road users resulting in a potential dangerous situation The location of the pothole is in the section of road outside Panorama and opposite College Farm The pot hole is getting deeper as traffic is now scooping out the hardcore and becoming even more dangerous

Thank you for your report. 8 pothole defects were raised for repair in slant hill at the junction of the B4035. The pothole that you are referring to may not have met our investigatory levels at the time the others were raised. I have raised a pothole defect for repair for the pothole outside Panorama, this will be completed within 28 days from today.regards
