HGVs turning into sovereign place!

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
There is an urgent need for signage to stop HGVs and large vehicles progressing down st johns /sovereign place and moreton avenue. Many HGVS are missing the entrances to the industrial estates off hithercroft road (lupton road) from the ring road and thus are entering residential areas to try and turn. This is resulting in damaged highways, pavements and peoples vehicles.
This can be easily eradicated by 1) inserting roundabout at st johns road and lupton road junction (which is getting busy due to lidl) and certainly in short term by clearly indicating through effective road signs where the industrial park is and to stop HGVs of certain size from passing the train station and entering town unnecessarily.
HGVS are causing the potholes on st johns road as they realise they have to turn at the roundabout by school if they miss the initial turns.
There is also now greater concern given the recent decision to build more units. It is imperative that the signage clearly indicates the turns for the industrial estates.

We are reviewing old information on Fix My Street and please accept our apologies for the delay in response. The location is, as you are aware, near the start of the 7.5 tonne weight limit for Wallingford so may experience the occasional vehicle that has genuinely become 'lost' If you consider there is still an issue, please create a new report on Fix My Street with any new information.
