Hello please see ongoing problem below Could you advise if yellow lines could be paint over a short area where the road narrows As danger to both pedestrians and vehicles as pedestrians being forced to emerge from in between vehicles I’ve attached pics again FYI

Road narrows but vehicles park on narrow part Forcing vehicles across neighbours front garden see pics , There is no footpath so pedestrians forced to emerge between parked vehicle’s Could you advise if yellow lines could be paint over a short area where the road narrows As danger to both pedestrians and vehicles as pedestrians being forced to emerge from in between vehicles I’ve attached pics again FYI . There are parking spaces but would seem to lazy to walk 40yrds , yellow lines will force them to walk all of a few yards !!!

  • Sainsbury’s Delivery couldn’t get past last night driver had to carry all 100mts to flat at the end of road . IF this was a AMBULANCE that couldn’t get past whose to blame ???? When it happens it will be to late , preventing is better than after the event !

  • Bin lorry refused to empty bins unless we brought the bins to the lorry as again it couldn’t get passed without driving over front garden .

  • Thank you for your report. To install double yellow lines it costs roughly £3000 just for the legal work and we do not have funding for this. However, this may be something that your local councillor may be able to fund if it is supported by the local community.
