Blocked ditch flooding road.

Travelling along Fox Lane towards the motorcycle showroom the ditch on the right is overflowing across the road where it becomes trapped. This has happened for many years and is the cause of the road surface repeatedly breaking up, especially in frosty or snowy weather. When we passed by in the other direction about 3 hours earlier the flooding was more extensive.
The problem seems to be that a section of the ditch is blocked by tree and leaf debris but further on the ditch is flowing free and fast and at least 9 inches below the road level so it is not a blockage where the ditch runs under the road further on.
May I suggest that the overhanging hedge needs cutting well back and growth in the ditch removed with an excavator along with the accumulated silt and debris. The road was extensively resurfaced earlier in 2020 but is vulnerable to further damage due to this repeated flooding.
