Vehicle has run into bridge barrier

A large vehicle has flattened the barrier on the Cumnor side of the road and poles are lying on the verge

    If you look carefully you’ll notice on the right of photo 1 that a pole from the bridge now sticks out unprotected by its upright post, which is on the other side of the road (photo 2). So a vehicle that strays leftwards (it’s downhill on a right hand bend) could be impaled. Serious danger especially in icy conditions. Needs warning sign and urgent attention.
