Dirt and mud on raod

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
Since works began on the A40 a lot of traffic has been using Weston Road from salt Lane through to Stoke Talmage. This has resulted in a huge volume of traffic on a small country road. As many parts of the road are single file motorists are using and destroying the grass verges to pass each other, they are being chewed us and the debris from them is being spread onto the road. In this weather it is an accident waiting to happen with cars slipping and I can see it becoming worse as winter progresses. The road need to be cleaned urgently and maybe a few signs advising motorists it is access only? The issue has been getting progressively worse since works began on the A40 6 months ago.
