Please review Double Yellow lines

Please review the need for the No Waiting markings in this stretch of the road. This is one of the areas of Bretch Hill that has markings on both sides of the road meaning that residents are not able to park outside their home. Historically this was a circular bus route with buses running in both directions, and this might explain the current markings (allowing buses to pass). However, this has not been the case for many years and the lack of parking is a serious issue for many residents; many resorting to unauthorised parking in the area.

Thank you for your report. To alter any double yellow lining there needs to be an amendment to the traffic regulation order. This work costs around £3000 just for the legal work. This will then result in a consultation with regards to the lining. Therefore, this would need funding from a local parish or backing from the local Councillor.
