Pedestrian footpath missing
Reported via mobile in the Footways and Pavement damage category anonymously at 14:09, Sat 5 December 2020
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
Pedestrian footpath doesn't reach the dropped kerb at slip road to fuel filling station. This forces pedestrians, cyclists & dog walkers to walk in very busy road. Its clear there were plans extend footpath to the end as there is already dropped kerb for wheelchairs & prams. This urgently needs to be addressed before a serious collision occurs. This is an accident waiting to happen. We have live locally for 18 months and use the route daily with other walking to Costa coffee and Gateway retail park. The path on this side of the road is now being used more frequently in order to maintain social distancing, path on other side of road is significantly narrower & is often restricted by overgrown trees & bushes worse in the summer months.
