Over grown hedging covering 1/3 Rd of the roadway

Resident have not antedated to there garden maintenance resulting in blocking the road for access to garages and other properties to rear resulting in vehicles having to mount the curb on to pathways causing damage

  • Whilst looking to complain about this very hedge, I noted that someone has already done so. Good one them!

    Having said that, more than three months have passed since the original complaint and the situation has not improved at all. In fact it has worsened and encroaches further into the road with every passing month with damage to paint on cars as they pass.

    Pedestrians are at risk as vehicle drivers can no longer see around the corner, nor is there enough room for pedestrians and cars to navigate the corner at the same time.

    It has not been addressed by the owners of the hedge and something must to be done I say!

    Please can any approach to the owner of the hedge be expedited before the lane becomes completely impassable and access to properties prevented.

    The fellow who lives there is a bit of a rum ole chum so do be mindful.

  • Thank you for your report. According to our land and highways records department this location is not part of the adopted highway.May I suggest you contact the local parish to confirm who owns the land with regards to your enquiry
