'Keep Clear' boxes at junctions are illegible
Reported via desktop in the Road Traffic Signs and Road Markings category anonymously at 17:34, Wed 2 December 2020
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
At the junctions of First Turn and Blandford Ave with Woodstock Rd, in both cases there are meant to be 'Keep Clear' boxes marked on the Woodstock Rd. These play an important role because congestion on the Woodstock Rd often causes blockages that mean passing into or out of these side roads is impossible without drivers obeying the boxes.
The road markings indicating these boxes are extremely worn to the point where they are now barely visible and are certainly illegible, and so are not obeyed by drivers on Woodstock Rd. This produces an unreasonable level of inconvenience to users of these junctions. Please arrange for the road markings to be refreshed as a matter of urgency.
