20mph signs obscured by vegetation
Reported via desktop in the Road Markings category anonymously at 17:19, Wed 2 December 2020
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
Two 20mph reminder signs on Sunderland Ave are not clearly visible. One is outside no 30 on the northern slip road, where it is obscured by nearby overgrown vegetation from a front garden. The other is outside no 11b on the southern slip road, where overhanging vegetation from a front garden means it is always in deep shadow and therefore not clearly visible to vehicle drivers. The Sunderland Ave slip roads suffer continually from dangerously fast rat-running vehicles (because of congestion on the main road), so it is vital that the 20mph signs are clearly visible. Please arrange for urgent removal of the obstructing vegetation.

The obscured 20mph reminder sign outside 30 Sunderland Ave, reported 5 weeks ago, remains obscured by overgrown vegetation. Because of the frequent speeding rat running along this slip road, the vegetation urgently needs cutting back so the sign is visible.
