The Parks Officer responsible for Trees at Vale of White Horse District Council, Robert Kelly, has told me to contact you regarding some felled trees.
A few years ago two tall silver birch trees on Cherwell Close were cut down and we were told that they would be replaced (not with silver birch), but they never were. The trees were outside numbers 39 and 41 and the loss of them has a real impact on the look of the street. I attach two photos - one of the trees as they were and one of the street now. Robert Kelly agreed that these were a big asset to the street and should be replaced.
