Street sign near front gate of No. 1 Church Road , indicating road narrows, post is at an angle having been knocked into by large vehicle and the sign at top now at 90 degrees from approaching traffic and thus obscured. The sign really needs to be relocated a few feet closer to our gate to reduce the risk of further similar damage.

Reported via desktop in the Road Traffic Signs and Road Markings category anonymously at 15:13, Tue 1 December 2020

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

The sign has been at this angle for quite a while and needs fixing because the corner is a 'pinch point' with no visibility of oncoming traffic.

  • The crooked and obscured sign as reported on 01/12/20 , contrary to the latest status report stating that it has. I have reported this to Oxfordshire County Council Highways Dept. and hope that the necessary action will now be taken to straighten and, preferably relocate the sign so less vulnerable to large vehicles attempting to manoeuvre round the pinch point corner where indicated on your map. Thank you in advance.
