Street light outside No22 Long Close not working

This street lamp has been out for a month, I previously reported it two weeks ago and it was reported fixed which it isnt! thanks.

  • Seriously unlit end of a dark Close if it weren’t for neighbours leaving outside lights on we’d literally be in the dark.

  • This street light is still not working having been first reported on the 30th November. The resident that lives close to this light complained to me today and as the County Councillor for this area this is the third light I have reported as not working today. I do hope these lights will be fixed soon into the New Year

  • I find it frustratingly disappointuing that 4 months after first reporting this problem IT STILL HASN'T BEEN FIXED. We have elderly neighbours who find the darkness intimidating, please will somebody do something.

  • OK so now me and all my neighbours are seriously disappointed as its now getting on for 5 months we've been without a street light! What is going on? We have all left our outside lights on to compensate, but that's us paying twice for the privilege of feeling safe!

  • Failed lamp replaced with a very efficient LED type which has a kindly warm white light and very little overspill of light so hopefully good for the stargazers.

    I just think 5 months is too long to wait for a relatively simple fix!
