Bridge flood lighting not working

Reported via iOS in the Street lighting category anonymously at 16:32, Mon 30 November 2020

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Previously reported and marked as fixed but the big flood lights that light the bridge at each corner aren’t working (the four little carriage lanterns are though)

  • Thank you for your report, to enable us to log the fault to the correct unit can you please advise using the attached map the street light number you are referring to. If the unit is not on the map this would not be owned/maintained by Oxfordshire County Council and would need to be reported to the developer/landowner direct. Unfortunately we do not keep records of private lights.

  • Good morning, thanks for looking at this again. I have looked for a reference number previously but I can’t see one. Henley Town Council advise that they belong to OCC and apparently you normally maintain them. They aren’t privately owned and the adjoining landowners have confirmed this. The light system is actually attached to the bridge on both sides, either side of the river. There are 12 lights in total.
