Sent to Oxfordshire County Council and West Oxfordshire District Council less than a minute later
We have excess pooling of water on the pavement right outside our front door, During cold spells, the water ices over and is very slippery as it was this morning which is dangerous, I nearly fell on my back. I suffer spinal problems and cant afford to slip on my back or Jolt it like I did. Its also very messy and awkward to access our home without stepping into it. It becomes very muddy and soils our shoes and dogs and the mud comes into the house making a mess. The water soaks through and often over flows under our front door and into our house, even though I have fitted a rubber flap, we have already replaced our matting twice as they begin to rot. The water also soaks through the the step and our inside is continuously damp. I have reported this before. I had Thames water over as suggested and they made sure the drain to the side was clear and unblocked. Please could you attend to this, I suspect the flag stone step in front needs to be lifted and the pavement re-tared to slope away from the door. 27 Lower High Street, Burford. OX18 4RN
