Largish tree branch has just been damaged by a Sydennhams lorry that was turning carelessly in the road. Tree damaged. I’m concerned that in windy conditions this could snap off. The road is a busy pedestrian are for school children It would seriously harm some one if it landed on them.

Thank you for your enquiry. The tree and location has been assessed. Upon inspection we found that a silver birch has recently be pruned. It is our understanding that the branch was likely pruned/removed as a result of the damage sustained. Thank you for highlighting this incident.
