Heyford Road, Kirtlington

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

I assume from the yellow road markings, that you intend to make two chicanes in the village. Can I ask, in these days of high government spending, and reduced budgets for the councils, how can you afford to waste money on these needless chicanes? It looks like there is one on the junction of the Park Close and Heyford Road. It will be 'interesting' to see how we can exit the Close with these obstructions in place. I would suggest that the money is spent on potholes, rather than these unwanted chicanes
