The broken state of the surface of the narrow footpath on Gravel Hill between Friar Park and Pack and Prime Lane.

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
This very narrow footpath has been in a dangerous state for some years and is an accident waiting to happen. The surface is cracked, broken and uneven and many of the kerb stones are missing. To add to the danger, it is at present covered in wet leaves so one is unable to even see the broken surface..The path is well used by local residents, many of whom are in their 70s and 80s, and by the many walkers en route to Pack and Prime Lane - particularly during the current Lockdown. I feel this footpath should be resurfaced as soon as possible to avoid causing a person falling into the road.

There has been no response to my complaint last November. Due the ongoing wet weather, the leaves have become even more of a slippery hazard as they cover very broken and uneven ground. In desperation, one of our public spirited neighbours has this week spent a few hours clearing the sodden leaves for the benefit of the many who use this path. Perhaps the council would take note.
