Behind 48 Nursery Drive, Banbury

Reported via desktop in the Trees category anonymously at 08:01, Mon 16 November 2020

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

The tree behind 48 Nursery Drive has 3 broken hanging branches. One is over the garden the other two are over Nursery Lane. The lane has lots of people who walk down it and I would hate anyone being hurt if one fell down. Sorry to bother you but I thought that was important that you knew.

Council ref: ENQ20880611

  • Thank you for your enquiry, we have visited site and inspected the trees & vegetation as described in the enquiry. The vegetation present appears growing beyond the area that OCC maintains and is therefore deemed to be an adjacent boundary feature. OCC, as the local highway authority, maintain the HMPE (highway maintainable at public expense) from boundary feature to boundary feature. As such the vegetation present is maintainable by the adjacent property/land owner, and not the county council, to maintain as they wish. Should you require a more detail on this matter, please contact our highway records team at: Landandrecords@oxfordshire.gov.uk

    Many thanks for your Enquiry
