Parks Rd - Hoardings on footpath and cycle lane

Hoardings have appeared on the footpath and cycle path outside the Museum of Natural History on Parks rd. This is a busy pedestrian and cycle path used by people of all ages. I’m surprised that during a pandemic that the council has allowed the pathway to be narrowed. I am also surprised that the council, who is pushing for more people to cycle and walk in the city, is hindering this by allowing hoardings to be erected on the path. Due to the age of many cyclists, it is not safe for them to use the road to cycle. The hoardings should be removed without delay.
