Broken bollard on footpath

Sent to Cherwell District Council and Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
This bollard is at the Western end of the footpath beside the Banbury Rd, about 20 - 30 metres from the entrance to the gated road which leads to Fulwell Rd. It has been broken since at least last month.

At their January meeting the Parish Council discussed this issue and asked that it be pointed out that this broken bollard is a safety hazard. The path is not lit and the bollard itself could be a trip hazard while the large hole in the path surface could be very dangerous, especially as horses are ridden along this path. They would like this matter progressed with urgency.

Thank you for your report. Due to there already being signage at this location for the cycle way we do not see the need for a replacement bollard. This has already been made safe so it will stay as is.
