Review the standard of lighting

As part of the road safety work please could you review the standard of lighting in the Botley road. The lamp standards disappear amongst the trees and so are producing minimal lighting on the roads or pavements. The lights have been dimmed as part of the government money/energy saving exercise. This together with the lamps being too high means it is very unsafe and dangerous as a pedestrian, cyclist or car driver.

Please review the height of the lamp posts along the Botley road. The same problems applies to Cumnor Hill which I assume comes under your jurisdiction. Not the nicest or safest place to walk anyway and the lack of a decent standard of lighting doesn’t help.
