Natural spring on Brook Street and two blocked drains

Reported via desktop in the Drainage category anonymously at 13:18, Thu 5 November 2020

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

As acknowledged earlier in the year here are three identified problems - 1) An underground spring is pushing water through the Brook Street road surface and the grass verge. This has just started again, today, 2) the drain pipe coming from Stert Road South down Brook Street to the Brook is blocked , 3) The drain pipe coming from Stert Road North (the farm yard) down Brook Street the to the Brook is blocked. This is causing excess water in the whole area. We have confirmation from Thames Water that there is no mains water leak. A team from the council came in the spring of this year and identified the blockages but nothing has been done since to clear them. These issues have been known since December 2019.
